Sheila Solsona climbs the WTA rankings

STA Annual Program player Sheila Solsona has reached a new ranking high after passing qualifying and reaching the last 16 in a US$25,000 in La Coruña, Spain.
Starting the year with a WTA ranking of 982, Sheila has now risen in the space of two months to her latest ranking of 768.
With some more points to add in next week’s rankings, Sheila will rise even further.
Our congratulations to Sheila for her hard work and persistence. We expect to see Sheila move to around 500 or higher by the end of the year.
Fellow STA player Rebeca Bou also reached the second round in La Coruña before losing to top seed Neuza Silva of Portugal 4-6 6-3 6-1.
