Ricard Tubert wins Mens title

Spain Tennis Academy player Ricard Tubert has won the Monty Tour Mens Open event at the Ciudad Diagonal Club in Barcelona.

Ricard overcame Russian player Evgeny Prokhorenko in the semi-finals 6-3, 4-6, 6-1, and then went on to beat Todd Chick in the final 3-6, 6-3, 6-4 in an intense match.

This week Ricard reached another Monty Tour Mens Open final in Montcada y Reixach – first beating fellow Spain Tennis Academy student Ansu Bhuyan 6-3, 7-5 and subsequently Damien Arquillo and Oscar Colominas before falling in the final to a Croatian player 6-2, 6-3.
