Prajnesh wins first ATP points

STA player Prajnesh Gunneswaran has won his first ATP points (3 points) at the US$15,000 Futures event in Irun, northern Spain.
Prajnesh won 3 matches in the qualifying draw and reached the quarter-finals before eventually losing to Spanish player Guillermo Alcorta-Olarra 7-5 6-3.
On the way to the quarters, Prajnesh overcame ATP ranked players Santos Sanchez-Patino (# 1624), Abel Hernandez-Aguila (#1363) and Thomas Cazes-Carrere (#744).
Congratulations to Prajnesh for picking up his first ATP points. After the Irun event, Prajnesh will next compete in India at the Chennai and Delhi US$15,000 Futures.
