Prajnesh reaches semi final in Delhi

STA player Prajnesh Gunneswaran reached his first Mens Circuit semi-final in at the US$15,000 event in Delhi, Indian.
The event, held from the 8th-14th September at the DSCL in the centre of Delhi, featured several top-500 players, including top seed Peter Gojowczyk from Germany, ranked #294.
On his way to the semis, Prajnesh defeated 5th seed Ashutosh Singh 7-6 4-6 7-6, Ronak Manuja 6-4 6-2, and the #437 ranked 2nd seed, Yuichi Sugita from Japan 7-6 6-4.
In the latest ATP rankings on the 22nd September, Prajnesh moves up 327 places to a new high of #976.
Congratulations to Prajnesh for reaching the semis in only his third main draw appearance in a Mens Circuit event.
